Odontopyge fasciata Carl, 1905 is a junior primary homonym of Odontopyge fasciata Attems, 1896. As such, it is permanently invalid, according to Art. 57.2 of the Code (ICZN, 1999)[1]. Replaced by Odontopyge johanncarli Hollier, Stöckli, Wesener, Mesibov, Decker & Sierwald, 2020.
