| Abstract: | This study aimed to classified some species of Chilopoda which is the first record in Iraq. The samples collected from April 2018 to March 2019, in some areas of central of Iraq, which are: Baghdad, Anbar, Babylon, Diyala and Qadisiyah. We found nine species from 183 numbers of samples. The species we recorded for a first time in Iraq are: Scolopendra amazonica, S. afer, Cormocephalus nigrificatus, Cryptops anomalans, Geophilus flavus, Haplophilus souletinus, Lithobius microps, Lamyctes emarginatus and Scutigera coleoptrata. The species were supported by photos, then the samples where stored in Iraq Natural History Research center and Museum. Remark: Keywords are wrong and were not added.
