| Abstract: | Abstract: The present paper provides the first study of the morphology, description and distribution preferences of the Scolopendromorpha centipede fauna of Kurdistan/Iraq. Three species belong to the genus Scolopendra have been reported from the country. After a study of significant amount of new material collected in the period 2013-2014, three species namely Scolopendra subspinipes Leach (1815), Scolopendra polymorpha Wood (1861) and Scolopendra cingulata Latreille (1829) were found. New illustrations and, where appropriate, brief descriptions of the species are given, along with an identification key for the Iraqi Scolopendromorphs. Recommended citation: Ahmed, S. T. and F. S.
