The known diversity of the family Striariidae amounts to 2 subfamilies, 15 genera, and 52 species. The subfamily Striariinae comprises 12 genera and 47 species: Striaria (11 species), Amplaria (18 species), Kentrostriaria Shear & Marek, 2022a (1 species), Maraplia Shear & Marek, 2022b (3 species), Lamparia Shear & Marek, 2022b (4 species), Rampalia Shear & Marek, 2022b (1 species), Plaramia Shear & Marek, 2022b (2 species), Ralampia Shear & Marek, 2022b (2 species), Petra Shear, Marek, Bond & Wesener, 2022 (1 species), Miniaria Shear & Marek, 2023 (2 species), Tigraria Shear & Marek, 2023 (1 species), and Kingaria Shear & Marek, 2023 (1 species). The sister subfamily Trisariinae Shear, 2020 comprises 3 genera and 5 species: Trisaria Shear, 2020 (3 species), Stegostriaria Shear & Marek, 2022a (1 species), and Nototrisaria Shear & Marek, 2022b (1 species).
