SUMMARY
Dinocryptops Crabill, 1953 was formally placed in subjective junior synonymy under Scolopocryptops Newport, 1844 by Edgecombe et al. (2012: 768)[1], action that was followed by Chagas-Jr. et al. (2014: 144)[2] and Martínez-Muñoz & Pérez-Gelabert (2018: 85, 86)[3]. The latter authors (Martínez-Muñoz & Pérez-Gelabert, 2018: 92) submitted the update to Chilobase 2.0, which was implemented by Bonato et al. (2016 onwards)[4] in June 2018.
