Scolopendra heros is found in the USA and Mexico. USA: Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona (see Shelley, 2002: 33-34). Mexico: Chihuahua, Coahuila, Sonora, Sinaloa, and Nayarit (see Shelley, 2002: 34-35[1]), and Colima (Cupul-Magaña, 2010: 133[2]).
