Abstract: | The millipede Cylindroiulus caeruleocintus (Wood) has been listed as an endangered (EN) species in the Finnish Red Data Book, 2001. Four records have been published up to now from southernmost Finland: a disappeared population in Helsinki, and two populations in Turku and one in Tammisaari. Its occurrence in the Turku area was studied, and nine new localities were found. Two new records from the city of Helsinki and one from the city of Lohja are also presented. The habitats and the status of the populations are discussed. One population is living partly in a natural oak-dominated forest in Turku, the other populations occur in anthropogenic soils. The status of C. caeruleocinctus as an endangered species in Finland is commented. Puistotuhatjalkaisen esiintyminen Suomessa |
