Myriapodes - Fichier allemand

The card index "Myriapodes - Fichier allemand" is from the German period (1870-1920) of the Musée Zoologique de Strasbourg (MZS). It is stored in a wooden box together with the card indexes "Cnidaires" and "Chiropteres". The cards refer to Chilopoda and Diplopoda, including material sold by Karl Wilhelm Verhoeff in 1898 and material identified by Karl Matthias Friedrich Magnus Kraepelin in 1903. The Chilopoda and Diplopoda card sets are separated by a printed list of Chilopoda material donated to the MZS by Etienne Iorio in 2004.
The cards were scanned on 14.v.2018 with a CanoScan LiDE 700F at 600 ppi resolution and saved in TIFF format. They were organized as alphabetically as possible and scanned two at the time. The files were later (18.v.2022) replicated and each card image cropped individually and assigned a MZS-CAMA serial name, including the sheet wrapping the cards and Iorio's list. The CAMA prefix is occasionally used by Carlos Martínez when labeling scanned images.
There are 78 MZS-CAMA images in total, of which 1 is the card index wrapping sheet, 39 are card images of Chilopoda, 2 are images of the list of Chilopoda donated by Iorio, and 36 are card images of Diplopoda.
