New or poorly known Julida (Diplopoda) millipedes from the Sataplia State Nature Reserve (SSR Georgia)

Abstract:

Two new species of Julida (Diplopoda) from the Sataplia Reservation, West Transcaucasia are described. Pachyiulus krivolutskyi sp. nov. is distinguishable from the related P. flavipes C.L.K. and P. foetidissimus Mur. by an entirely light body color, slight striation of metazona and some details of gonopod structure. Cylindroiulus georgicus sp. nov. differs from related C. placidus (Lignau) mainly by the structure of gonopods and cyphopods. These two species together with C. ferganus Lohm. apparently from a fourth group of species whithin the subgenus Grenatoiulus, characterized by a short epiproct rounded at the apex.
