Abstract: | The Charles University Botanical Garden, located in the very centre of Prague, is a specific ecosystem with a diverse invertebcate community. In 2000, a community of millipedes (Diplopoda) was studied by the author. In total, he found 14 species of this invertebrate species, one of them (Allajulus nitidus) being new to Bohemia and two of them (Cylindroiulus truncorum and C. vulnerarius) being new to the entire Czech Republic. |
