Abstract:

A new species of the oligotypic millipede genus Tymbodesmus is described from Cameroon:T. golovatchi sp.n. It is distinguished by the presence of a single spine on the gonopod nodus and the absence of a paxillus on body segment 15. New material of the type-species T. figlinus Cook, 1899,
previously known in Cameroon only from the littoral region (Kumba “Mundame”), is also illustrated.
